Sarah is an object artist and scenic designer who works nationally for theater, dance, opera and puppetry. She resided as props artisan for Richard Foreman's Ontological-Hysteric Theater, and  for Mr. Foreman's opera collaboration with composer Michael Gordon, What to Wear (REDCAT). Recent collaborations include scenic design for the premiere of Kimber Lee’s different words for the same thing (Center Theatre Group), Erik Ehn’s Clouded Sulphur (RADARLA, directed by Janie Geiser), and object design for Invisible Cities, a site-specific opera created by The Industry in Los Angeles’ Union Station.  Sarah has designed puppets for Torry Bend’s The Paper Hat Game, et al., and she makes short puppet shows in which objects transform in unexpected ways. Sarah has a BA from Wesleyan University (Theater and Classical Civilization) and an MFA in Scenic Design from CalArts.
